Well it is all over for another year & we had a great time-especially as my Lacewing came 2nd-what a thrill-my albino came 6th & I was very happy with that as well-below is a picture of my lacewing (his mum was at the Canberra Nationals)

(1st picture)-Opaline Grey (dark factor that went to Burnie Nationals-Tasmania & ran 7th has now produced some lovely bird including violets)& (his babies are now winning) then (3rd Picture)Opaline boy just won Opposite sex of show Juvenile at just 5 1/2 mths of age -at the ABS show 24th Feb.2013 was his Grandson and had won(2nd picture)Champion Nestfeather of Wynnum Show Nov. (which is lovely as he has now past away at almost aged 6yrs)
 
Lacewing hen above - her son just came 2nd at Nationals in Toowoomba on Sat. 15th June 2013.
& Lutino Hen that went to Rockhampton Nationals & ran 5th (her 1st baby to show a Light Green hen,
has won & her niece a Lutino hen just won at 5mths in Any Age show)and the Lacewing that represented Sth Qld at the Canberra Nationals 2012. She has now has produced lovely babies. Her Son won best Lacewing of show at Brisbane Northern Suburbs 23rd Sept. 2012 & other son at Wynnum 4th Nov.2012)
I was fortunate enough to have 3 birds selected to go to Geelong 2012 Nationals this year to represent Sth Qld., They were an Albino, a Lutino and an Opaline AOSV Violet. |
