This is a picture of my Champion of Show at Brisbane & Northern Suburbs Sunday 21st February 2010 - very exciting to win this award - His little brother & 2 sisters, 2mths younger are now looking good also, so heres hoping.

Below are some pics of the birds going to the Wynnum Showcase auction in april 2010 - among them is a lovely young hen Opaline Cinn. Grey CRL 112 09 - 75% bloodline to the Opaline Grey that went to Tassie for 2009 Nationals. The Dark Green/blue cockbird CRL 033 09 is from my top line of Dark Green winners of many shows, the beautiful Light Green Hen CRL 009 08 is related to my best green line with 100% winners - she has had 2 clutches only & is a great mum-babies look very nice, the Opaline Cinn. Dark Green/blue hen CRL 046 08, beautiful hen, sister of Opposite Sex of Show twice & Best Cinnamon Intermediate of show (not used yet) sister is producing lovely babies now, the Spangle Cinnamon hen CRL 127 09 is a very nice young hen (niece of DF Spangle went to Nationals 2007, good for DF spangle pairings. The Recessive Pied Mauve Hen CRL 088 08 is related to my winning recessives from Dave Ganzer, Phil Edgar line & cousin to Opaline Dark Green/blue/recessive cockbird CRL 015 09 - make great pairing to improve recessives. the Spangle Grey Green is 100% Rob Lucas, RL 009 08 - son of the DF Spangle that went to Nationals 2007- make good pairing for CRL 127 09 Spangle hen. |
